A Private Pregnancy and Birth Advisory Experience

For the woman who wants the best—and wants to know nothing important has been overlooked.

The Journey Suite gives you one trusted RN advisor helping you anticipate what is ahead, prepare for important appointments and decisions, understand the realities of hospital birth, and shape a pregnancy and postpartum experience around what matters most to you.

Private engagements begin at $4,500. A limited number of clients are supported each year.

YOU MAY RECOGNIZE THE NEED BEFORE YOU KNOW WHAT TO CALL IT

For the woman who wants to be prepared without personally managing every part of the experience.

You may be entirely capable of researching, planning, and asking thoughtful questions—and still prefer not to make pregnancy another complex project you oversee alone.

  • 01

You leave an appointment with new information, then realize later that you did not ask the question you meant to ask—or fully consider what the recommendation may mean for what comes next.

  • 02

You have collected excellent names, saved recommendations, and opened countless tabs, but do not want to personally evaluate every provider, resource, or layer of support.

  • 03

You are receiving care from qualified professionals, yet no one person is keeping the larger experience in view across appointments, preparation, preferences, and support.

You do not need someone to take your voice or decisions away. You may simply want an experienced advisor helping you notice what matters, prepare before the moment arrives, and carry less of the process alone.

The Role That Is Often Missing

One trusted advisor, keeping the entire journey in view.

Your obstetrician or midwife manages your medical care. A doula may provide emotional and physical support during labor. A childbirth class offers general education.

The Journey Suite fills a different role.

Throughout your engagement, Renie helps you anticipate what is likely to come next, prepare for significant appointments and decisions, understand how hospital care works, clarify your preferences, and identify support aligned with your needs.

Because the relationship continues throughout your journey, you do not have to begin from the beginning every time a new question arises. Your priorities, concerns, and previous decisions are already known.

The Approach

What it means to have a private pregnancy advisor.

This is not a collection of disconnected consultations. It is an ongoing advisory relationship designed to give you the right support, context, and preparation at the moments that matter most.

The Approach describes how the work is done—advisory, preparation, and a lighter mental load. The Journeys describe how much of the coordination Renie carries on your behalf.

I

Know Me

Your priorities, concerns, provider, hospital, decision-making style, and desired experience shape the guidance you receive.

II

Prepare Me

A personalized Journey Map helps you see what is ahead, what deserves attention now, and which decisions may arise later.

III

Advise Me

Private conversations help you prepare for appointments, clarify recommendations, develop meaningful questions, and approach important decisions with greater context.

IV

Curate for Me

When outside support is needed, you receive carefully selected recommendations based on fit—not an overwhelming directory of options.

V

Remember for Me

Your outstanding questions, previous decisions, and next steps remain connected, so you are not left to hold the entire experience together alone.

What this may look like in practice:

In practice, this may mean preparing for an upcoming appointment, thinking through a new recommendation, anticipating a decision point, or identifying the additional support most appropriate for your experience.

The work is personalized to the pregnancy in front of us. It is not a predetermined curriculum, a replacement for medical care, or a generic collection of resources.

The result is fewer decisions made under pressure, less unnecessary research, and greater confidence that the important details have been addressed before the moment arrives.

THE INTENDED RESULT

Arrive understanding more—and carrying less.

By the time you enter the hospital, the intention is that you understand the environment, know what matters most to you, recognize the questions worth asking, and feel confident that important details were considered before they became urgent.

No service can control every outcome. Thoughtful preparation can change how you enter the experience.

Beyond the Expected

Care is often felt in the details you did not have to request.

Every Journey Suite experience includes additional client-care touches designed around the woman—not only the plans surrounding her pregnancy and baby.

Some are practical. Some are personal. Each is intended to create a sense of continuity, recognition and support at meaningful points throughout the journey.

Not every element is presented in advance. Part of being thoughtfully cared for is discovering that something important has already been considered for you.

Because exceptional service should not require you to anticipate every way you may need to be supported.

Most of the work happens in conversation — unhurried and long before anything becomes urgent.
  • 01

One Expert Who Knows the Entire Story

Your priorities, questions, and previous decisions remain connected across pregnancy, hospital preparation, and early postpartum planning.

  • 02

Hospital Insight Beyond a Generic Checklist

Guidance is shaped by nearly two decades across fertility, high-risk pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum, neonatal intensive care, and women’s and infant services.

  • 03

The Right Information at the Right Time

Rather than managing an endless stream of pregnancy content, you receive the context most relevant to the decisions directly ahead.

  • 04

    Curation, Not More Choices

When additional support is needed, recommendations are considered in relation to your personality, priorities, and desired experience.

  • 05

    Preparation Before Pressure

Important questions and potential decision points are explored while there is still time to think clearly.

In Practice

What thoughtful support looks like.

The advisory relationship becomes tangible in ordinary, well-prepared moments. A few examples of what clients actually receive:

01

Journey Briefs

Written summaries prepared for you at meaningful points in your pregnancy: what deserves attention now, what is likely to come next, and the questions worth raising with your care team.

02

Appointment Preparation

Before significant visits, you receive a short, personalized set of questions and context. Afterward, there is space to talk through what was said and what it means for your plans.

03

Your Private Client Space

One organized place holding your preferences, decisions, documents, and next steps, so nothing has to live in your memory, your notes app, or a folder of open tabs.

04

Curated Professional Profiles

When outside support is helpful, you receive a small, considered set of professionals with a short note on why each one was selected for you rather than a directory to sort through.

Three Levels of Private Support

Choose the degree of guidance, coordination, and access that best reflects what you need.

Each level differs less in what is discussed and more in how much you are asked to hold on your own.

Renie looks ahead across the whole arc: upcoming milestones and timing, babymoon planning, nursery and home readiness, family and household logistics surrounding the birth, and postpartum support at home.

Best suited for The woman who wants an exceptionally personalized experience with the greatest level of anticipation, access, and coordination.

Journey recommendations are made after a private application review and consultation. You do not need to determine the appropriate level of support before applying. Full descriptions of each journey are on The Journeys page.

Founder and Private Pregnancy Advisor

Every client is known personally. You are not entering a program; you are being welcomed into an advisory relationship with someone who understands both the clinical realities of pregnancy care and the personal experience of navigating a complex system.

For nearly two decades, Renie has worked across the maternal-health continuum. Her experience includes fertility nursing, high-risk antepartum care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, neonatal intensive care, clinical education, women’s and infant services leadership, and clinical quality management.

As a U.S. Army Nurse Corps veteran, maternal-health nurse, and experienced clinical advisor, she brings together hospital insight, preparation, discernment, and a genuine commitment to helping women feel exceptionally well supported.

“The value is not simply more information. It is judgment shaped by years of seeing how pregnancy, birth, hospitals, and support systems actually work.”

Renie’s role is not to replace your obstetrician, midwife, doula, or other members of your care team. It is to remain attentive to the space between them—helping you prepare, connect information, anticipate questions, and keep the larger experience in view.

How It Begins

A private experience begins with understanding what you need.

The application allows Renie to understand what has brought you to The Journey Suite, where you are in your pregnancy, and the degree of guidance or coordination you may be seeking.

Submitting an application does not obligate you to move forward. Because the work is personal and continuous, Renie takes on a small number of clients at a time.

  1. 01

    Begin

Complete a brief private application and share what feels most important about your pregnancy, birth, and desired support.

  2. 02

    Review

Renie personally reviews your application to understand whether The Journey Suite is the right fit for your needs, timing, and location.

  3. 03

    Consult

When the fit looks right, you are invited to a private consultation to discuss your priorities, understand the experience, and identify the most appropriate journey.

  4. 04

    Welcome

If you decide to move forward, you receive your personalized recommendation, agreement, and onboarding experience.
